Art Walk L / A will feature downtown artists and live music

LEWISTON – The next Art Walk L / A is scheduled for Friday June 25th.
This month, organizers have planned plenty of art to see downtown, as well as a live concert at the Simard-Payne Amphitheater from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. featuring four local music acts. The artists will return to the sidewalks of Rue de Lisboa and Place Dufresne. And there is a lot to see in the following places:
The Studio, located at 291 Lisbon St., will feature artist Grayling Cunningham and his friends are back with an exhibition of work in this hub of the Lewiston Arts District.
LA Arts Gallery at 221 Lisbon St. will present “Echoes and Loops, New Paintings by Kate Cargile”.
The Lewiston Public Library, located at 200 Lisbon Street, will feature the “I Wish My Teacher Knew…” artwork by Lewiston High School students, curated by LHS art teacher Deanna Ehrhardt.
Kimball Street Studios at 191 Lisbon St. will feature artist Topsham Libby Sipe.
Ramble Row artist Angie Lafrance’s work can be seen at 110 Lisbon St.
Craft Brew Underground, at 34 Court St., Auburn, will feature artist Iris Scott.
Gritty McDuff’s, 68 Main St., Auburn, will present the work of artist Amanda Retus.
LA Arts Music in the Park will take place from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Simard-Payne Amphitheater performed by Emily & The Zealous, Secondhand Clams, MOJO and DJ Bernarzo.
