Bad Addiction for Barrow Wallis singer-songwriter
A BARROW-born star has released a music video for her latest single Bad Addiction.
The new track by singer-songwriter Wallis was a big hit and was chosen as the BBC’s introduction to music in Cumbria.
The song is Wallis, 24’s fifth single since his debut as a brand new artist in the spring of 2020, and also marks his fourth introductory BBC single of the week.
Exploring themes of desire and addiction within destructive relationships, Bad Addiction is Wallis’ most pop single to date and uses a true string quartet that adds a dark edginess to the song’s verses.
The dramatic lyrics allow Wallis to sing the story of a relationship that’s The Perfect Storm.

She has been singing since the age of five and her first single Never Gonna Be was released in early 2020 and featured on popular Spotify releases before being chosen as the BBC’s intro song of the week on BBC Radio. Cumbria.

“The clip was so much fun to shoot. I wanted to create the image of a bad dream and I knew the release date was near Halloween, so I wanted to add a scary element to it as well. It turned out exactly. how I envisioned! ”
