Waukee High School is thrilled to present our Spring 2022 Musical, BE MORE CHILL! This year’s musical features approximately 70 Waukee High School students as part of the cast and crew. Click on here to see their biography.

BE MORE CHILL is a coming-of-age story with a contemporary twist (the supercomputer in the head of the main character). The musical follows Jeremy Heere, a high school student who can’t seem to fit in anywhere, no matter how hard he tries. In order to be closer to his longtime crush, Christine, Jeremy enrolls in the school play. But Christine loves another guy. That’s when popular kid Rich tells Jeremy about the Intel Super Quantum Unit processor, also known as SQUIP, which will make him cool. The SQUIP is a nano-computer that implants itself in your brain and tells you what to do. Will Jeremy abandon his only true friend to have the girl of his dreams? Join us to see what kind of trouble the SQUIP can get Jeremy into, and whether or not going “cool” is all he’s meant to be.
