Cirkut bought the Ace family’s former Los Angeles home – DIRT

Prior to purchasing a much larger mansion in Woodland Hills which is currently subject to foreclosure, YouTube’s famous and controversial Ace family – Austin McBroom and his wife Catherine Paiz, along with their three young children – lived here in this much smaller but still multi-million dollar house. McBroom and Paiz rented the property from 2017 to 2018; although it is not known exactly how much they paid, the place was last offered at a rental rate of $ 18,000 per month.

Despite the high price tag, not everything always went well during the Ace family’s stay. First there were intruders and “ghost sightings”, both of which were frequently used as click bait on the family YouTube channel. Then, in the summer of 2018, the allegedly haunted house was broken into. While police reports confirm an incident took place at the home, the line between reality and counterfeiting for cameras is notoriously thin with the Ace family, and online debates have raged over whether the heist had actually taken place. (The controversy was only fueled when McBroom and Paiz posed with their child for photos outside the house’s shattered glass door, which had been smashed by burglars hours before.)

Regardless, McBroom and Paiz have long vacated the premises and their owner has now sold the mansion for $ 3.1 million. The buyer is Henry Russell Walter – the music producer better known as Cirkut – who frequently collaborates with Kanye West, Rihanna, Katy Perry and The Weeknd. Presumably, Cirkut will end up sharing the property with his girlfriend Ava Max, a popular singer known for the hit singles “Sweet but Psycho” and “Kings & Queens”.

Built in the early 2000s and designed like many generically Mediterranean McMansions of that era, the 6,200-square-foot structure contains five en-suite bedrooms and voluminous public rooms within its pale yellow walls and under its red-tiled roof. There are tiling and hardwood floors throughout, along with wrought iron detailing and a kitchen with granite counters, pantry, and stainless steel appliances.

Fully gated and camera-monitored for security, the property also has an attached three-car garage and parking area, although its best features are undoubtedly its double-width courtyard, which spans over an acre and features expansive grassy lawns, mature palm trees and a children’s play area. There’s also an infinity pool with views of the flat San Fernando Valley basin, as the house sits on a prominent ridge, at the end of a peaceful cut-of-sac.

Originally from Canada, Cirkut wrote and produced hit songs with many prominent artists during his ten-year career, including “Wrecking Ball” by Miley Cyrus, “Starboy” and “I Feel It Coming” by The Weeknd, and songs on Kanye West’s Donda album. The 35-year-old also owns two other multi-million dollar homes in Los Angeles, including a contemporary $ 4.5 million villa in Studio City and a $ 4.2 million home in Hollywood Hills, the first Previously owned by “90210” actress Jennie Garth and last owned by “Legally Blonde” actress Ali Larter.

Desiree Zuckerman and Benn Zuckerman of Rodeo Realty held the list; Shelly Mashiach and Eli Mashiach of MGB Realty represented the buyer.
