Just A Gent joins Angry Mob

Just A Gent enters into a worldwide administration agreement with Angry Mob Music Group, the Los Angeles-based independent music publisher.
With electronic music producer and artist (real name Jacob Grant) on board, Angry Mob takes a leap into the EDM universe, adding the Aussie to a stable that includes nearly 300 publisher clients worldwide, more than 6,000 songs and a list of 60 creators.
“I’m thrilled to join the Angry Mob roster,” he said in a statement. “The team is forward thinking and ready to go above and beyond to help me take my career to the next level. I’m very excited about what this relationship will bring.”
His signing “is an exciting entry into the EDM market as we seek to expand and diversify our creative roster,” notes Sean Harrison, co-founder and creative director of Angry Mob Music.
Earlier this year, Just A Gent released their genre-crossing debut full-length album, Planet Oasisa collection that has been recorded over a period of five years and features collaborations with Samsaruh, Sammi Constantine, Lani Rose, SAYAH, Jacknife, Greta Stanley, SADBOii and Arno Faraji.
His EP 2020 Automatic pilot has also racked up over 2 million streams, and his appearance on triple j’s Like a Version in 2019, where he performed Kid Cudi’s “Day N Nite,” is approaching 3 million views.
Since their launch in 2016, Novocastrian’s cuts and remixes have garnered 300 million combined streams, from “Limelight (NGHTMRE Remix)”, to “Rolling Dice”, “The Change (Feat. DMA’S)” [Remix]“, “Iris in the dark”, and more.
Created in 2009, the Angry Mob roster includes Joe Pepe, Jake Scott, KiNG MALA, ROMES, Schmarx & Savvy, KAMI, Love-sadKiD, Pepper, LeyeT, Bus the Producer, Rune Westberg, Evan Coffman and Verskotzi.
He will embark on a mini-tour of Australia later this month to support Planet Oasis.
