Justin Bieber gives update on his facial paralysis
Justin Bieber recently revealed to the world that he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, causing paralysis on one side of his face. Thankfully, the 28-year-old pop star is being diligent in letting the world know about her condition.
On June 13, in an Instagram post, Bieber wrote of his condition, “Wanted to share a bit of how I feel. Every day got better and through all the discomfort I found comfort in the one who designed me and who knows me.
Bieber took great comfort in his spirituality as he continued to write, “I remember he all knows me. He knows the darkest part of me that I don’t want anyone to know and he constantly welcomes me into his loving arms. This perspective has given me peace during this horrible storm I am facing. I know this storm will pass but until then, JESUS IS WITH ME.
As a result, the “Peaches” singer had to reschedule his June 7 Justice World Tour dates because of Ramsay Hunt Syndrome.
In a video posted to Instagram over the weekend, Bieber revealed his facial paralysis. He saw serious side effects as he explains in the video how one of his eyes was not blinking. He continued in the post, saying, “I can’t smile on this side of my face. This nostril won’t move. So complete paralysis on this side of my face.
However, he remained optimistic as he promised to get better. He explained in the video that “I’m doing all these facial exercises to get my face back to normal and it will go back to normal. It’s just time, and we don’t know how long it’s going to take. But I’ll be fine, I I trust God.
This is not the superstar’s first health problem. Earlier in his twenties, Bieber was diagnosed with Lyme disease, a tick-borne illness that can cause periodic flare-ups throughout life.
We wish you a healthy future, Bieber.
