According to Billboard, legendary music producer and rapper, Sean “Diddy” Combs, who goes by the name Diddy among his fans, has been tapped to host and produce the highly anticipated musical evening. It was also said that the American rapper will host the event 25 years after winning his first award in 1997 for his album No Way Out. Expressing his joy at hosting the upcoming show, Diddy assured his fans that it will be like no awards show as it will bring love and set the frequency at an all-time high. Further stating that he was the show’s executive producer, he praised the Billboard Music Awards and mentioned that they truly represent the artists and where the music is currently.

He said: “It will be unlike any awards show – I’m bringing the love and setting the frequency at an all-time high. The Billboard Music Awards truly represent the artists and where music is today, so I’m thrilled to curate the biggest live performances and surprises. The world must connect to see.
