Spotify’s New ‘Noteable Releases’ Playlist Shines a Light on the Songwriters Behind Your Favorite Hits

“Noteable Releases” is a new playlist from Spotify that highlights the underrated songwriters and producers behind the biggest hits.

Behind many of the world’s greatest hits is a team of passionate songwriters and producers who help the artist realize his vision behind the scenes. These songwriters and producers are often overlooked, but deserve their time to shine. Likewise, sometimes the artists themselves write and produce their own music, which must also be recognized.

Launched in February earlier this year, Spotify’s Noteable is a website dedicated to those talented songwriters, producers, and publishers behind some of the world’s greatest tracks. Noteable is designed to help the songwriting community find Songwriters Pages, Written By playlists (which you can find by searching for “Written By [name]”), the Songwriters Hub on the Spotify platform, an educational video series, the Spotify Created by Women playlist and more. New playlists and offers are always being added. Spotify hopes Noteable will help creators to connect with each other, hone their craft and explore best-in-class advice. By bringing content from Noteable and these behind-the-scenes creators to the fore, Spotify is launching a new flagship playlist: Noteable Releases.

Launched on Spotify last week, Noteable Releases will be updated every Friday with a selection of the best recent work from songwriters and producers from around the world. The playlist also includes many popular pop hits written with top songwriters to recognize and highlight the songwriters and producers behind the tracks. Fans can go further behind the scenes with Spotify Clips, as the playlist features videos from top songwriters including Finneas o’connell, Fall Rowe and Jack Antonoff.
