The Toronto singer-songwriter, seen here with Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, will be the guest speaker at the Songwriter’s Café at the Burlington Public Library.

Juno award-winning musician Suzie McNeil will be a guest at Tomorrow’s Songwriter‘s Café hosted by the Burlington Public Library.

The virtual event, scheduled for April 6 from 2-3 p.m., will be hosted by Myles D. Rusak, CEO of Burlington’s famed Sound of Music Festival.

McNeil, originally from Toronto, was born into a family of musicians. She was practically raised singing with her mother and sister, learning to collaborate from an early age.

A musical jack-of-all-trades, Suzie’s awe-inspiring experience extends to massive crowds alongside some of North America’s top artists and more intimate venues with her Nashville-based country/rock band, as well as to studio work, Broadway-level musicals, and commercial jingles.

The Songwriter’s Café is an ongoing series of educational conversations about lyrics and storytelling intended to inspire and motivate all songwriters with a song in their hearts throughout Poetry Month in April.
