Veterans Give Family Fun at Nailed It DIY Studio in Clarksville
CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A local veteran couple’s visit to a carpentry shop in Nashville has turned into a new small business right here in Clarksville.
Leanne Lannan and her husband Johnathon are co-owners of Nailed It DIY Studio, and she said her experience at the workshop led her to believe that they could do it too, and better, to provide Clarksville families with fun. affordable local.
The Clarksville site is the company’s 20th studio.
Leanne served four years in the Air Force and Johnathon was in both the Air Force and the Army. The two met while serving at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota.
Nailed It DIY’s mission is to teach, so that anyone can create a handmade home decor. Lannan added that they allow everyone to add personal touches to their projects.
“We have a lot of signs that you can personalize with your name and the date you were established, whether it was the date you were established as a parent, or the date you got married, or the date you were established. which you moved into your house, â€Lannan said.
Nailed It DIY hosts a number of events, and Lannan said they plan to do more in 2022. This year, they launched Nailed It Unplugged, with live music. Participants can bring food and drinks and work on their project.
Next year, kids’ camps are planned for spring break, and future plans are for a parent night, with creative activities and stations for kids.
Nailed IT DIY can organize birthday parties, virtual parties, fundraising events, youth activities, team building activities, girls’ nights, family time and just about everything type of celebration.
“I’m not the only handyman in Clarksville. I want to bring other people who know what I don’t know here, so that other people can learn more about something that might be of interest to them. I hope to bring together the DIY enthusiasts of Clarksville, â€said Lannan.
Nailed IT DIY Studio is located at 2670 Madison St., Suite A, and they’re available for appointments on Wednesdays and Thursdays. On Friday and Saturday, they are open from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
